Government Social Research
The Government Social Research service is represented and supported in a variety ways by several key groups.
GSR Ethics Group: a group made up of GSR members from across government and the devolved administrations, working to ensure the sharing of good practice and the consistent adoption of the principles in the GSR Professional Guidance on ethics.
Government Social Research Unit: based in the HM Treasury, GSRU provides strategic leadership and support for GSR.
Heads of Profession: personal profiles of the chief social research officers in each government department, known as the Heads of Profession or 'HoPs'.
