Department for Culture, Media and Sport was founded as Department of National
Heritage in 1992. Policy areas range from Gambling/Lottery to the Arts,
Sport and Broadcasting. Most of the Department's programmes are delivered
by a range of Non-Departmental Public Bodies including the National Museums,
Sport England etc.
