The Urban Geography Research Group (UGRG) of the RGS-IBG seeks proposals for sponsored sessions at next year's RGS-IBG Annual International Conference, to be held 30th August - 1st September 2006 at the RGS-IBG, London. The theme of the conference is 'Global social justice and environmental sustainability', with Linda McDowell, University of Oxford as the conference chair. The UGRG seeks proposals for sessions, if possible under the theme of the conference but other areas will be considered, which might include some of the following: a) Research papers; b) Postgraduate student papers; c) Poster sessions (informal presentations); d) Work in progress reports / proposals for future projects; e) Panel discussions; f) Practitioner Forums. Each proposal should comprise of an abstract/outline of session proposal and the topics or themes it would aim to address, and the format of the session (i.e. paper session, poster session, panel discussion, practitioner forum, etc.).
