27 January 2006 - Scottish Executive (SE) publish results of Stakeholder Survey 2005

The survey was commissioned by the Office of the Chief Researcher and undertaken by MORI Scotland between mid-September and mid-October 2005. It sought to assess both stakeholders' satisfaction with their engagement with the SE and how this has changed in the past year, Almost 1,100 stakeholders responded to the survey, which makes the findings of the survey very valuable across the organisation. Overall impressions of the Scottish Executive are favourable, with the majority of stakeholders indicating that, in its approach to working with and involving other organisations, performance has either improved or remained in line with last year's positive result. Levels of satisfaction in the dealings stakeholders have with the SE have also improved when compared with last year's findings. The findings are helping the Scottish Executive identify its strengths but also areas for improvement.
