It’s time to take stock of what you’ve achieved this past year and get the recognition you or your team deserve!
Have you been involved in a particularly innovative piece of research? Can its effectiveness in practice be clearly demonstrated? Are you prepared to contribute to the wider body of knowledge within and outside the industry?
If the answer to all these questions is ‘yes’, and you have worked on a project that significantly influenced decision-making in the public policy or social arenas, you or your team could be in line for a top UK research award this year.
Nominate yourself, a colleague or your whole project team for the MRS Public Policy/Social Research Effectiveness Award - the entry which best demonstrates the positive impact of research on decision-making within the public policy and/or social arena will be the winner.
But maybe you’ve worked on something innovative that deserves a wider audience but doesn’t quite fit the criteria for this award? Perhaps one of the following categories would be more appropriate:
Shortlists for all these awards will be published in late July, and winners will be announced during a ceremony at the Research Excellence & Effectiveness Awards Dinner, which will take place on 6 November 2006 at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
