In November 2006, the Home Office, the ESRC, and the Government Social Research Unit commissioned NatCen to carry out a scoping study to assess whether infrastructure is needed to support the appropriate and effective use of experimental and quasi-experimental methods across the policy and research communities. The specific focus of the study is quantitative evaluation for policy outcomes.
NatCen are anxious to cast the net as wide as possible and in order to hear the views of all those with an interest in these important issues, they invite responses by 11 December 2006 to a six question survey.
