Contract Notices

If you are a GSR member seeking to commission social research on behalf of your department, you are welcome to advertise contract notices on this page. You should provide the notice in Word or PDF format, and the notice should include your contact details so that potential suppliers will be able to contact you directly. You should also state clearly the deadline for responses.

Please submit at least 3 weeks before your deadline, as you will need to allow a week for notices to appear on the webpage.

Please send your completed contract notices to: gsr-web@hm-treasury.x.gsi.gov.uk

Disclaimer: Government Social Research Unit is not responsible for content of notices and will not respond to enquiries.

Scottish Government: Electronic Tendering - from March 2006, Social Research moved to an electronic tendering process, with tenders being issued through the easy-to-use and cost effective eProcurementScotl@nd service. With the advent of electronic communications much of the paperwork involved in formal tendering procedures can be replaced with electronic equivalents that are both secure and legally binding. Social Research sees numerous benefits to e-tendering for both the contractors and for the Executive.
