Census Microdata: findings and futures

Census microdata, like the Public Use Microdata Samples in the USA and Samples of Anonymised Records in the UK, has made a substantial contribution to social science on an international basis. This conference will provide an opportunity to hear about and discuss research undertaken with census microdata internationally and consider the future role of census microdata.

The conference will include presentations from international census offices such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques and Statistics Canada.

SRA annual conference

Trends: Looking Back, Moving Forward - 30 years of the SRA

Details: As the SRA celebrates its 30th anniversary it is taking the opportunity to reflect on the impact of Social Research over the past 30 years and future trends for the next 30 years. The SRA therefore welcomes abstracts for presentations for both plenary (30 minutes) and workshop sessions (35 minutes). The deadline for papers is 19 June 2008.
