GSR Fast Stream In-Service

These pages are about the Fast Stream In-Service training and development scheme for the Government Social Research service. You can apply for this year's scheme now. Completed applications must be received by Monday 14 April.

Who can apply for this scheme?

Existing members of the Government Social Research service at Research Officer and Senior Research Officer grade (or equivalents) can apply to join the GSR Fast Stream In-Service programme. It provides an opportunity to develop in preparation for the highest levels of responsibility in the civil service, whilst still retaining your professional identity.

Not already a member of GSR?

If you are a social science graduate outside the Civil Service; or a social science graduate already working in the Civil Service but not a member of GSR, then this scheme is not for you.
