MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation: Prospectus


2. Introduction


The Government Social Research Unit (GSRU) and the Institute of Education (IOE), University of London are inviting applications to take up a place on the jointly-run MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, commencing October 2008. This is the fourth year of the jointly run MSc.  It is a modular degree, and has been designed to be completed part-time over two years.  It covers research methods used in drawing up an evidence base for designing, critiquing and evaluating government policies, as well as critiquing, evaluating and analysing the effects of policies.  The overall emphasis of this degree is on quantitative research methods.
